Kevin and Thomas
|
|
Thomas and Kevin both mine and
both ex-CP cats.
Thomas is 3 yrs - born in care and later hand raised, he had
really bad ringworm and no one chose him so we felt sorry for
him and Ian suggested that we keep him. He is a cracker.
Kevin aka Psycho Puss. He is about 5 yrs - came to our notice
as he was found in the High St, Inverurie as a kitten - a kind
lady took him home but her other cats freaked so he went to
stay with another couple but his behaviour was erratic - he
has no idea about other cats and even with humans his ears would
go flat and his eyes as big as saucers - he looked really scary
and eventually the couple felt that they were intimidated by
him. He stayed with us for 3 months and then rehomed to another
nice couple, but within a week he was back for strange behaviour
and then he pee'd on the visiting mother in law's bed!!!!!
He ran to us and he chose us. 6 months later the strange behaviour
turned out to be caused by a very narrow urinary track that
would block and the pain from this made him very freaky - it
took £600 to get to this!
He is now a well adjusted cat although can be strange at times.
He is very affectionate and loves to be cradled in your arms.
He is a big boy who now knows that he has nothing to fear from
the other 4 cats. Does occasionally go for the collie and has
been found stopping the dog getting out of a corner. But he
is a great character.
